Join us for a presentation on East Marion history, as revealed by its historic homes and artifacts along Main Road, and a discussion of how we can recognize and honor them. Also, pick up your copy of the new guide to a self-conducted East Marion Main Road Walking Tour. Presented by the East Marion Community Association on Saturday, October 13, 2018. 10 a.m. at the East Marion Firehouse, 9245 Main Road. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for coffee, goodies + socializing. FREE + open to all.

East Marion is an architectural treasure trove illustrating life in rural Long Island in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Walking along Main Road today is remarkably similar to taking the same stroll in 1850.” — Southold Town Historian Amy Folk
